8th TURKEY SUMMIT OF TUMIKOM WAS REALIZED
IN ANTALYA
The 8th Turkey Summit of TUMIKOM was realized on 12-13 May 2007 in Antalya Sheraton Hotel
with the participation of 29 local representatives and guest. Targets and projects
of TUMIKOM in the pre-election period and future role of local representatives
were evaluated and discussed in the summit. It was decided to prepare a
decleration about the opisinions of TUMIKOM about pre-election. In the summit,
it was decleared that TUMIKOM will be highly busy in the pre-election period
as well as after the election and in these workings of TUMIKOM, local representatives
will have important duties. Besides, it was decleared in the summit that the coming
early election process will be unfair because of several reasons and altough the
center of the democracy is the enactment of voters, it is not the situation
in Turkey because of various laws.
