TUMIKOM IS A PART OF WORLD DEMOCRACY MOVEMENT


TUMIKOM has been integrated with the other world wide organizations which have effectual demands in international assemblies.

TUMIKOM realized in its first international experience on 29 September – 2 October 2004 that was organized by ‘New Tactics in Human Rights’ in Ankara with the participation of 450 delegates from 83 countries. TUMIKOM is still going on to share its knowledge, accumulation and experiences.

TUMIKOM EXPLAIN THE TURKISH DEMOCRACY

The activists of democracy read the democracy workings of Turkey from the interview of TUMIKOM. World Movement for Democracy organized its 4th International meeting in Istanbul on 2-5 April. The meeting was made with the participation of 500 delegates from 125 countries and also Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Prime Minister of Turkey.

TUMIKOM IS WITH THE WORLD ALLIANCE

Mustafa Durna, the General Coordinator of TUMIKOM was chosen as delegate by World Alliance for Citizens Participation (CIVICUS) in consequences of his studies and he was invited to the assembly of CIVICUS on 21-25 June in Glasgow-Scotland.

The World Council Assembly is organized with the watchword ‘Acting together for a just world’ which will make the non-governmental organizations that are working for a democratic world. The delegates who will come together for justice and equality will overture about the political, economical and social issues such as destitution, gender, and citizen participation.
